5401D Wall Mount Lock Box Instructions

Opening the 5401D Wall Mount Lock Box Key Storage Compartment Door.

  1. Open shutter door to reveal the dials and the release button
  2. Rotate dials to the current combination (if the lock is new, the combination is set at the factory to 0-0-0-0)
  3. Press down on the release button to open the door
  4. Pull the door fully open
  5. Add or remove keys
  6. Close compartment door
  7. Scramble the combination dials to lock the door and conceal your combination
  8. Close the shutter door

Setting a New Combination for your 5401 Wall Mount Lock Box

The initial factory-set combination is 0-0-0-0.

  1. Open the compartment door
  2. Push the reset lever left and down. The lever remains in this position
  3. Rotate dials to your desired combination
  4. Push the reset lever, up and right, back to the original position
  5. Close the key storage compartment door
  6. Scramble the combination dials to lock the door and conceal your combination
  7. Close the shutter door

How to hang the 5401 Wall Mount Lock Box

What you Need: pencil or marker, Phillips head screwdriver, level, drill, and drill bit. For certain surfaces, we recommend using anchors and a hammer.

  1. Open the compartment door
  2. Position the lock on the desired surface
  3. Use level to verify the lock is vertical
  4. Mark the position of the screw holes on the surface
  5. Remove lock
  6. Drill holes
  7. If necessary, use hammer to place anchors
  8. Position lock
  9. Insert and tighten screws
  10. Close compartment door
  11. Scramble the combination dials to lock the door and conceal your combination
  12. Close the shutter door

Reminder: The release button will open the lock until you scramble the dials. Keep the shutter door closed to increase weather resistance and to conceal the dials from view.
