Lock Style & Materials
ProSeries® high security padlocks are available in five styles including Weather Tough®, High Security Iron Shroud, Solid Steel, Solid Brass and Solid Aluminum. All ProSeries padlocks feature:
- Hardened boron alloy shackles for superior cut resistance
- Dual ball locking mechanisms that resist pulling and prying
- Rekeyable ProSeries cylinders
- 5-pin and 6-pin cylinders provide tens of thousands of key changes
- Spool pins are virtually impossible to pick
Commercial grade laminated steel padlocks include hardened bottom plates with anti-drill keyway to provide security not available elsewhere. This padlock family has options including:
- Body widths from 1-9/16" to 2-1/2"
- Hardened steel or boron alloy shackles
- 4-pin and 5-pin cylinders
- Rekeyable or non-rekeyable models
Laminated brass padlocks offer excellent corrosion resistance for marine environments. This padlock family has options including:
- Body widths from 1-9/16" – 2"
- Hardened steel shackles or optional brass shackles
- 4-pin and 5-pin cylinders
- Rekeyable or non-rekeyable models
Optional Shackle Lengths
Many Master Lock padlocks are available with extra long or short shackles to provide sufficient reach to lock around the application. The shackle length is measured from the top of the lock body to the inside of the shackle. The standard length varies by product and the optional lengths are designated in the product number: ie 3LF. Some common lengths and designations are:
- LS: 3/4" (19mm)
- LF: 1-1/2" - 1-9/16" (38mm - 40mm)
- LH: 2" (51mm)
- LJ: 2-3/8" - 2-1/2" (60mm - 64mm)
- LT: 3" (76mm)
- LN: 5-3/8"- 5-3/4" (14cm - 15cm)
Custom Marking
To customize your locks, you can laser engrave up to six areas on your Weather Tough®, Shrouded, Brass or Aluminum ProSeries® padlocks. Engrave your company logo or any alphanumeric characters for safety lockout purposes, employee or department identification or company or institutional/school branding.
Keys can be hard stamped to include up to eight characters such as a name or key number.
