| Master Lock offers a comprehensive tuition reimbursement program that helps supplement the cost of starting, continuing or furthering employee education. In 1998, over 100 employees took advantage of this program to further their education in anything from machine set-up to completing their MBA.
Master Lock also has an in-house learning center. This learning center is equipped with 6 Pentium computers. The learning center is stocked with a library of self-paced learning programs that teach employees anything from hand held measuring devices to working with personal computers. The learning center is open 24 hours a day and is accessible to all employees.
